Puneet Souda (Pete) joined our laboratory in 2004 after attending graduate school at Purdue University in Indianapolis. He received his training in the laboratory of Dr Frank Witzmann and Dr. Bonnie Blazer-Yost. Previous to that he completed his Bachelors in 2001, also at Purdue University. Pete is involved in protein separations and Top Down mass spectrometry of the Human Salivary Proteome Project with Dr. Julian Whitelegge. In addition to that he is also part of the team developing mzML data format through the Human Proteome Organization Protein Standard Initiative. He also manages and oversees PMSL's computing resources including clusters and servers. Pete's expertise in large format 2D electrophoresis and 2D-LC are valuable for designing proteomics experiments involving both qualitative and quantitative measurements.
